Rainy Days
Today, classes were canceled because of a storm. It did rain but it wasn't as strong as yesterday. Anyway, I didn't do much today except use the computer. I woke up at around lunch time, then I had brunch. Went to the computer and read some Manga, played restaurant city, checked out my Deviantart account, checked my Gmail, checked my Gaiaonline account, signed into Yahoo Messenger, chatted and all the other stuff. Then, in a blink of an eye, it was already around 4:00 pm. At that time, I took a bath, and went bacl to the computer. Now its' 10:42pm. I guess I'll go sleep now. There might be class tomorrow. =\

Ping Pong
Table Tennis isn't an easy task. Today, I went back to Table Tennis
Training from the 10 day period of suspended classes. It seems as if I'm learning some things over and over again. I need to improve my muscle memory by a lot. A player from U.P. came over today too, his name was Rex Arevalo, I played with him last UAAP Season, he beat me then, he beat mo now too. It just proves that people around me are improving more and more, while I'm improving little by little. I've been trying to be more serious now in Table Tennis. This year, surely I'll do better. I remember when Hali just newly entered the Table Tennis training pool, he'd be training till 8:00 everyday. He even did about 100 crunches or push-ups before going to bed. In 7th grade, when I was in the training pool, I guess Table Tennis for me then was more like a re-creational sport, you know, just for fun. But now, I know it's more than a game.

Happy Father's Day!
Last night, I stayed up till about 3:00 am making my Dad's Father's day gift. It's a flash animation with more than 300 frames and it took more than 3-4 hours to finish. Anyway, for father's day, we went out to SM Marikina for lunch. We brought my CPU also so that it could be fixed. For lunch, I had a sizzling beef steak and an extra rice. While we were eating, we talked about different things and took pictures. I'll see if I can post one of them. When we finished lunch, we stopped by a store to get some icecream and ate it while walking. We went to a sports shop cause Hali wanted to buy something. After the sports shop, we decided to go home. At home, we gave the card we made and I showed my dad what I was working on during the whole night. After, I posted it on newgrounds.com here. Right now, we just got home from church and we're about to have dinner.

The Return of the Wi-Fi
Woohoo! The Wi-Fi's finally fixed. The one and a half day of limited access was tough. Also, I can finally finish the homework I postponed during the 10 day break. I knew I should've done it the day classes were suspended. Now I have to finish it tonight so that I can spend tomorrow off. I guess I'll start of with Biology first. It's the only one that's actually challenging besides reading "Noli Me Tangere", I've started reading the beginning and it wasn't as hard to understand the deep filipino as I heard it was. I'll be busy the next few hours too cause I'll have to take down notes from the book since there won't be any make-up classes on Monday. By the way, recently I've been working on fixing my blog, I've just added links to my Deviantart and my Facebook account. I'm thinking of adding a picture slideshow like the one my sister has. But I'll choose a different theme of course. Anyway, I've gotta get back to work. =/

Entertainment: Restaurant City
Recently, I've been playing this game on Facebook called Restaurant City. At first I thought it was one of those kiddy games but then it wasn't actually that bad. Its a game wherein you manage your own restaurant, keep your workers in shape, design the interior and exterior, you know, the like. Anyway, in the game, you're able to view your friends' restaurants and trade ingredients with them for the recipe you're using. Also, you're able to rate the restaurants of people on different streets. For the things you do in the game, you're also able to achieve trophies to display in your restaurant. I really don't know why I blogged about this, I guess its cause nothing really happened today besides the continuation of the limited internet access.
P.s. I think I'll stop with the newspaper theme stuff in my titles, they'll all just repeat anyways. This'll be the last one. But maybe I'll put a "Today's Headlines" every once in a while.

Today's News: No Internet
Today, there was no Wi-fi connection. We tried fixing it but it was no use. I decided just to draw on my computer while it was gone. I played around for a while and then I got bored. Hali found a way to get the internet working by directly connecting the LAN wire to his laptop. At around 2 o' clock, I was finally able to use the computer. I stopped at around 4 o' clock or so because I got a bit tired. My mom borrowed the laptop while I was resting. At that time Hali was resting too. When mom got off, Hali told me to try to connect the Wi-Fi again to see if it worked. I tried but it didn't start.Since Hali was asleep, I borrowed his laptop once again. I guess that was at around 5 o' clock, but then I got off soon after to eat dinner with everyone. After dinner, Hali used his laptop again so I stayed in Aneka's room for the time being. While I was there, we listened to music, talked, I drew, I massaged her for around 10 seconds or so and I also drew some ideas on a new original character on my sketch pad. When Hali let me use the laptop, it was already around 10:30pm so I just checked blogs, facebook, DA and of course, I blogged (or I am blogging). I guess a little bit later, I'll go wash up and ten get ready for bed.

Today's Headlines: Artist Creates New Character
So a while ago, a new OC (Original Character) came to me. Since so many people on DA (Deviantart) had their own OC's, I decided to make my own. Since my username was "Impface" on DA, I based my character on that. Anyways, his name is Ace. It became Ace because he's an Imp that's trapped in the Ace of Spades, also know as the card of death. Since Ace had an "Impface", I made him wear a mask to hide his face. But that mask wasn't any ordinary mask, it's a mask that uses magic to portray his feelings. It changes looks every now and then, but I haven't actually showed him with a different expression yet. Anyway, Ace is a comical character, a prankster, likes jokes and often cracks himself up with them. (That usually happens to me though, since I find the joke so funny, I'm laughing already while telling it.) So far I've only done two drawings of Ace. The one being shown and this one. Both of them are shown on my Deviantart Account.

Flash Report: Duck painting stolen!
Just a minute ago, I finished the digital painting of "Ducks" that my friend Mara suggested when I had another Art block a few days ago. It didn't take that much time and I'm happy it turned out nice (-er than the others.) I'm just quite disappointed cause of the water. It was the difficult part in the painting. That's why I added those pond stuff so that the water wouldn't look so dull. Before actually starting on the artwork, I also tried making a picture of her story: Ducks vs. Elephants. I had the concept in my head but when I got to drawing them with hockey gear on, I had to give up. Anyway, don't pay too much attention to the Title of the entry, I just didn't have anything to think of.

Entertainment: Skater Boy Animation
Today, I spent almost the whole day animating this skateboard animation. It kinda fast though, I guess its cause I got lazy to add frames and all. It's my first complete Animation by the way. It has about 4 layers of 105 slides. I feel proud of myself. It's not completely finished though. I was supposed to make the skateboard fall from the tree in the end but, I forgot to do that. =\ Aslo, the loading bar isn't working properly. I'll have to fix that too. I'm sure mos of you who've watched the animation didn't even see the loading bar. Anyway, I'm really glass it was a successful animation. My other works take almost the same amount of time (Half a day) but then go down the drain. I hope all of you liked my animation, I'm planning on making more. Hardwork really pays off. (Most of the time)

Frontpage: New personal computer
Today was a really tiring day, after lunch, we went to mass in the University of the Philippines' Church. After we went to get some fruit shakes at the place near the church. From there, we went to stop by and rest at home. It was really hot, and I was melting. After discussing things about the new computer, we went to Hi-Top to have my dollars exchanged. From there, we went to SM city Marikina and looked around in the Cyberzone of the mall for the computer. First we stopped by at Asianic but from there, after taking a while, we decided to look around more. We stopped by Silicon Valley and found a nice computer there. It was a desktop computer which cost around 14,800 pesos after adding some stuff. It included Genius speakers, keyboard and mouse, a 17" LCD screen by Samsung. I forgot the specs of the CPU but it uses a Intel Celeron. Before going home, we passed by Hi-Top again for some groceries and then headed home. At home, we set up the computer, it took a while to get the screen on the base, and it also took quite a while to get Windows XP running. Just a while ago, I got Mozilla Firefox, Adobe Master Collection CS3 and now I'm just trying to get my Pen Tablet to work. I haven't tried out Photoshop CS3 but I heard from my sister that it's so much better than Photoshop CS.

News Flash: Speeding through the rain
A few hours ago, my brother woke up and everyone was already done eating dinner. (We didn't wake him up cause we thought he had a dinner to go to, but it was canceled.) He decided to go down the road ti Jollibee and he invited me to go along. When I got on the back seat of the bike, (it's not really a seat but I guess you can call it one) I already felt small droplets falling from the sky. We still continued anyway. When we got there, I went inside to buy the food, he stayed outside to guard the bike. I got a seat near the window so he could go inside and watch the bike while we waited for the burger. His burger took 15 minutes so while waiting, he ate his fries and I ate my Chocolate Sundae. While we were waiting, the rain got stronger but luckily, when we got the burger, it got softer a bit. When we were out of the shelter already, the stoplight suddenly went go so we got rained on while before we were able to cross. We stopped for a while at the old Mcdonalds (it closed) on the other side of the street. Mihali decided to put his mp3 player in the bag with his burger so it wouldn't get wet. I also tied the bag so the water wouldn't go in. We got going after a while. When we were going through the rain, we started screaming like girls and all. I was laughing real hard. And still on the way to the house, Hali said: Umuulan pala? and I said: Weh? Oo nga noh, umuulan pala. Then we both started laughing. When we got home, I took a shower immediately so that I wouldn't get sick. I told hali to take a shower too but he said he was okay and dried himself up with a towel. It was a fun experience with my brother. (Even if it wasn't the first time it happened.)

Today's Headlines: "Triumph Over Art Block"
Recently I've been able to post much more artworks on my site, www.impface.deviantart.com. In the past 2 days, I was able to post 3 artworks. Usually I'm have trouble getting ideas or I just have no inspiration at all. That's why most of the time, my site is on long breaks of inactivity. Sometimes, when you have a great idea in your head, and you think you can draw it, when it gets to the paper, it's actually really difficult. That's what usually happens to me. I guess I just had a burst artistic talent for a while. I hope these bursts would happen more often..
